Over the years a lot of changes have been seen in the Indian film industry and these changes have positively affected the players in the value chain-producers, Distributors and Exhibitors. There is increased support from the banks and Financial institutes which have furthered the growth of multiplexes. The quality of movies made has improved and thus leading to an increase in collection in overseas market. Over the past couple of years the business of film making had changed due to corporatization, increasing production costs, spiraling actor fees and high acquisition costs for content.

Over the years the number of films have also increased and currently around 250-300 Hindi films are produced every year. So over all around 1000-1100 films are made. The reason for the same is because entertainment has become very important in people’s life. It can be any form of entertainment that is Films, Radio, Television, mobiles, Games etc. Film Industry is one of the fastest growing Industry and it will perhaps never decline and will always have an upward growth.
